We are currently looking for a talented Next.js Web Developer to join our team in Kochi, Kerala. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly interfaces using Next.js concepts and workflows. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing application performance, ensuring scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. For more details, please visit our website at www.jiitak.com. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using Next.js and associated tools. - Ensure that components and applications are robust, scalable, and maintainable. - Implement well-structured and modular code following best practices. - Collaborate closely with back-end developers to seamlessly integrate APIs. - Work with UX/UI designers to align on visual and functional requirements. - Define and implement technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers. - Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot issues to enhance overall application performance. - Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability and stability. - Debug and resolve software defects promptly. - Stay updated on the latest React.js and Next.js releases and ecosystem developments. - Contribute to the adoption of modern tools and practices within the team. **Key Skills and Qualifications:** - Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript. - Strong experience in Next.js and related workflows like Redux, Context API, or MobX. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming. - Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. - Knowledge of modern build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
