Role Overview: Jagran New Media (JNM) is the digital wing of Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL), India's leading media group, with a presence in print, OOH, radio, and digital. JNM focuses on creating online content in various genres like news, education, lifestyle, entertainment, health, and youth and reaches over 109 million users through its 9 digital platforms. As part of the team, you will be responsible for producing and delivering daily news video content in English, ensuring accurate scripts, researching and developing impactful video news content, and collaborating with the editorial team to plan and execute video segments. Key Responsibilities: - Produce, shoot, and deliver daily news video content in English for various platforms - Moderate level of Hindi Language is required - Write clear, concise, and accurate scripts for video news stories - Stay updated on breaking news, research stories, and develop relevant video content - Plan, storyboard, and execute video segments adhering to editorial guidelines - Assign Ground Reporting for special occasions - Utilize good industry contacts for expert views on issues Job Specific Knowledge & Skills: Functional: - Optimize videos for different platforms to ensure engagement with the English-speaking audience - Meet tight deadlines, particularly for breaking news and live coverage - Tailor content for various formats and devices Behavioral: - Work closely with journalists, reporters, editors, and other content creators - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a team environment - Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Qualification & Experience: - Degree in Journalism, Media Studies, or related field - Experience producing content for social media platforms - Knowledge of graphics, animation, and motion design for video enhancement - Familiarity with broadcasting equipment, standards, and production workflows Note: Interested candidates can share their resume on srishti.chogtu@jagrannewmedia.com.,
