• Responsibilities:
• Content Management: Research news stories, develop story ideas, and assign stories to reporters.
• Production Coordination: Oversee the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Scriptwriting: Write scripts for news anchors, ensuring clear and concise communication.
• Show Organization: Organize the newscast to ensure a smooth flow and proper timing, including commercial breaks.
• Live Shot Coordination: Coordinate live shots, ensuring they are technically sound and relevant to the story.
• Communication: Communicate with anchors, directors, and studio crew during filming and with reporters in the field to monitor story developments.
• Quality Control: Review daily newscasts to ensure accuracy, brand compliance, and provide feedback to news staff.
• Resource Management: Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budgets.
• Staying Updated: Stay abreast of current affairs and emerging news trends.
