Must have Experience in NPD with CNC Machining, casting , Forging , Stamping , Sheetmetal , Plastics parts. Must be energetic to work and pleasant Personality and Spoken Communication in English and Tamil. Would like to have candidates from Foundry & Machine Shop , Industries in and Around Coimbatore

An NPD (New Product Development) Manager specializing in machining

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead NPD for Machined Components:

  This involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing new machined parts, ensuring they meet customer needs and specifications.

• Optimize CNC Processes:

  Works with CNC machines and programming to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of machining operations.

• Ensure Quality:

  Implement and maintain quality control processes, including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

• Manage Feasibility and Costing:

  Evaluate the feasibility of new products and processes, and manage costs throughout the development and production lifecycle.

• Vendor Coordination:

  Manage relationships with suppliers of raw materials, tooling, and other resources needed for machining.

• Project Management :Plan, organize, and execute NPD projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Technical Expertise:

  Possess strong knowledge of machining processes, CAD/CAM software, tooling, and related technologies.

• Leadership and Problem-Solving:

  Lead and motivate teams, and effectively resolve technical and operational challenges.

• Prototype to Production:

  Manage the transition from prototype development to full-scale production, including process validation and first article development (FAI).

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
