The Branch Head - Agency Vertical will be responsible for leading and managing the agency channel at the branch level, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the life insurance industry, exceptional team leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to achieve ambitious business targets. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to expand the agency network and enhance productivity. Identify new business opportunities and ensure consistent growth in premium collections. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of agency managers and agents to achieve individual and branch-level goals. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of high-performing on roll teams. Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration within the team. Build and strengthen relationships with agents, ensuring consistent recruitment and retention of top talent. Monitor and enhance agent productivity through regular performance reviews and incentives. Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Candidates Requirements: Minimum 8+ years in the life insurance industry, specifically in the Agency Vertical, with at least 2+ years in a team management and team-building role. Proven history of generating annual business of INR 1.5 Crore+ in a previous role/company. Strong leadership and people management skills. Expertise in sales, business development, and agency channel management. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Result-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
