We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Head for our Agency Channel to lead and drive business growth for the organization, one of Indias most trusted and leading life insurance providers. This is a leadership position requiring a proven track record in the life insurance industry, with a focus on the agency distribution model. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of agency partners, driving sales targets, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering strong relationships to achieve sustainable business growth. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the agency network and enhance productivity. Identify new business opportunities and penetrate untapped markets within the assigned region. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of agency managers, sales agents, and support staff to achieve individual and collective goals. Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and skill development sessions to enhance team capabilities. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as recruitment, activation, persistency, and productivity of agents. Maintain high standards of customer service and address escalations effectively. Build and nurture strong relationships with agency partners, key stakeholders, and customers. Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to devise actionable strategies. Prepare and submit regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth plans. Desired Candidate Profiles: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the life insurance industry, specifically in the Agency Channel. At least 2+ years of proven experience in team management and handling teams in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated success in generating INR 1.5 Crore+ business annually in the current or previous organization. Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of building high-performance teams. In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, agency distribution models, and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Result-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
