Job Description

Job title: Networking & Hardware Specialist

Work Model : On-site

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner

Location: Bengaluru

Job Summary:

Network & Hardware Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Server & Hardware Management:

Physical installation and deployment of
Dell PowerEdge and other x86 servers
Remote server management using
iDRAC
Perform
firmware upgrades
, BIOS configuration, and system health checks
Troubleshoot server hardware issues (RAID arrays, PSUs, memory, fans, etc.)
Manage server lifecycle including asset tracking and end-of-life decommissioning

2. Network & Data Center Rack Management:

Handle
rack planning and server placement
in data center environments
Perform
network cabling
(fiber/copper) for server and switch connectivity
Configure network switches for VLANs, MTU settings,
LACP
, and
VLT
Understand and manage
Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches
and
Out-of-Band (OOB) management
Ensure documentation of network and hardware infrastructure is up-to-date

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in server hardware support and network configuration
Strong knowledge of
Dell PowerEdge server architecture and iDRAC tools
Experience with
RAID configurations
and server diagnostics
Hands-on with
network switch configurations
(Cisco, Dell, HP, or equivalent)
Familiarity with
data center standards
, cabling, and environmental best practices
Knowledge of
LACP, VLAN tagging, MTU
, and
redundancy protocols (VLT/STP)
Comfortable working in
high-availability environments
and managing physical infrastructure
