Network & VoIP Engineer

As a Junior Network & VoIP Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our IT and communication systems. This position is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of experience who are enthusiastic about expanding their knowledge and establishing a career in networking and VoIP technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist with basic configuration and troubleshooting of network devices (routers, switches, access points). - Support day-to-day network monitoring and reporting. - Help maintain LAN/WAN connectivity and address minor network issues. - Assist in managing IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs. - Follow standard procedures for network incidents and escalate when necessary. - Support configuration and troubleshooting of IP phones and softphones. - Assist in setting up VoIP extensions, call flows, and basic IVR changes. - Perform basic SIP log checks and collaborate with senior engineers during VoIP issues. - Help maintain VoIP system documentation and backups. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma or Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field. - 1 year of experience in networking or VoIP (internships are considered). - Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching). - Basic knowledge of VoIP concepts (SIP, RTP, codecs) is a plus. - Familiarity with tools like ping, traceroute, and basic CLI commands. - Good communication skills and a keenness to learn new technologies. - Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or VoIP courses are advantageous.
