Network Support Engineer

???? Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the

  single IT point of contact onboard Jack-up barges

• Lay, terminate, label, and test

  network cables

  (Cat6, fiber)
• Provide first-level support for switches, routers, firewalls, access points
• Troubleshoot & escalate network issues to L2/Shore Engineers as needed
• Install & maintain

  IT hardware

  desktops, laptops, printers
• Configure and troubleshoot

  VOIP systems

• Monitor connectivity and prepare

  monthly uptime reports

  (VSAT, OneWeb, Starlink)
• Coordinate with backend teams and ISPs for issue resolution
• Conduct

  cybersecurity induction and awareness training

• Manage IT asset inventory and ticket logging systems
• Assist with Windows, Office, Symantec updates and data backups

???? Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field
• Hardware & Networking certifications (preferred)
• 36 years of hands-on experience in network and IT support
