Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance.
2. Configure and manage network protocols and services, including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
3. Manage switching environments by setting up VLANs, STP, trunking, and port configurations.
4. Utilize network diagnostic tools and commands (ping, traceroute, netstat, ipconfig) to identify and resolve network issues.
5. Implement and maintain firewall rules, ACLs, NAT, and VPNs to safeguard network security.
6. Use network monitoring tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds to proactively identify and address network performance issues.
7. Collaborate effectively with IT teams and communicate technical information clearly to support network operations and upgrades.
