Network Site Reliability Engineer

As a seasoned Technical SRE lead for the Enterprise Network Operations and SRE team, your role will be crucial in actualizing the SRE vision for the network infrastructure. Your passion for the network and focus on user experience will drive you to solve problems hands-on, emphasizing network automation, observability, documentation, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the operational aspect of the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Partner with architecture and deployment teams to ensure new implementations are supportable and align with production standards. - Advocate for and implement automation to enhance operational efficiency. - Monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate with relevant teams to execute enhancements. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to swiftly resolve production issues and maintain customer satisfaction. - Identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive solutions that promote excellence and sustainability in network operations. **Qualifications Required:** - BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in network site reliability engineering, network automation, or related areas, including experience in campus and data center networks. - Familiarity with network management tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Nautobot/Netbox, BigPanda. - Expertise in automating networks using frameworks like Salt, Ansible, or similar. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Go, and knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, Wireless, BGP, VPN, L2 switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, EVPN, VxLAN, Segment Routing. - Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Linux system fundamentals, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. If you excel in leveraging operational signals for automation, have a history of code optimization, experience with network technologies like EVPN at scale, and previous SRE experience, you will stand out from the crowd in this role.,
