Network Site engineer

Job Description: Network Site Engineer – Ernakulam

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Level: 6months –1 years (preferred)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Network Site Engineer with strong communication skills in Hindi and English, and hands-on experience in basic networking and cabling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site network setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with frequent travel across Ernakulam and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, configure, and maintain network switches (Dell, Cisco, Alcatel)

· Perform structured network and power cabling at client sites

· Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate when necessary

· Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth deployment

· Maintain documentation of network layouts and configurations

· Provide Defect Liability Period (DLP) maintenance and Preventive Maintenance (PM) support for all related equipment

· Travel to various client locations within Ernakulam for site work

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, routing)
• Experience with enterprise switches (Dell, Cisco, Alcatel)
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards and tools
• Strong verbal and written communication in Hindi and English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to travel frequently for site assignments

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, or related field
• Certifications like CCNA

Travel Requirement

• Must be open to frequent travel across Ernakulam and nearby areas for on-site installations and support
