Network Security Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the complex network and security environment at TECH BOT LLC. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing, deploying, and maintaining next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Check Point, and FortiGate. - Configuring and managing security policies, rule sets, VPN tunnels (IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention features (IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, Anti-Malware). - Administering and supporting enterprise LAN and WLAN environments, including configuring switches (VLANs, STP, LACP) and managing wireless access points and controllers. - Acting as a primary escalation point for complex network and security issues, monitoring security threats, investigating incidents, and leading remediation efforts. - Collaborating on network architecture projects and maintaining comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and security policies. - Proactively monitoring network health and performance to ensure high availability and optimal operation of all network services. Qualifications required for this role: - 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated network security role. - Demonstrable expertise in managing Palo Alto, Check Point, and FortiGate firewalls in a corporate environment. - Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, TCP/IP, and dynamic routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF). - Experience with enterprise-grade switching (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper) and wireless solutions (e.g., Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus). - Professional certifications in relevant firewall and switching technologies are highly preferred. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a knack for solving complex problems under pressure. Additionally, if you have familiarity with network security in cloud environments (Azure) or experience with security information and event management (SIEM) and network monitoring tools, it would be considered a plus.
