Network Security Engineer

The Network Security Engineer position is located in Gurugram and requires 2-3 years of experience. As a Network and Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of the network infrastructure and security. Your responsibilities will include assisting senior engineers in ensuring the high availability and performance of network systems and services. Your key responsibilities will involve configuring and deploying routers, switches, firewalls, Prisma SASE, and wireless access points. You will be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity, performance, or hardware issues, as well as updating network documentation and diagrams. Collaborating with senior engineers to implement network upgrades and changes, supporting LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity, and handling support tickets are also part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in network security practices, including firewall rule updates and access control. Your role may require participation in on-call rotations or after-hours maintenance as needed. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Familiarity with network security concepts, firewalls, and SASE will be beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Preferred qualifications for this role include certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent. Familiarity with cloud networking platforms like AWS and Azure, as well as knowledge of Cortex XDR, SASE, and DLP, would be advantageous.,
