Network Security Engineer

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring network security solutions to protect enterprise infrastructure. The role involves configuring and maintaining security tools, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls, endpoint security, and OT security tools (Palo Alto, MS Defender, TxOne).
• Monitor network traffic and security events to detect and respond to potential threats.
• Implement security policies, access controls, and best practices for network and OT environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Support incident response activities and provide technical guidance on network security.
• Collaborate with IT, SOC, and operational teams to maintain secure infrastructure.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Microsoft Defender, and TxOne OT Security solutions.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience in OT/ICS security is a plus.
• Ability to analyze logs, generate reports, and recommend improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSE, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and cloud security practices.
