Job Description

Responsibilities:

Automation Development:
Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for testing network devices and NMS using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, Postman).
Test Design and Execution:
Design and implement automated test cases for validating the functionality, performance, and security of network devices (routers, switches etc.) and NMS applications.
Network Protocols:
Test devices and NMS functionality using network protocols such as SNMP, CLI, NETCONF, REST, and more.
Integration Testing:
Collaborate with software engineers to develop integration tests and validate proper communication between devices, NMS, and other network components.
Bug Identification & Reporting:
Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying areas for automation, improving existing test scripts, and adopting new tools/technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
Proven experience in
network testing
(devices, NMS, or both).
Strong knowledge on L2/L3 and
network protocols
such as TCP/IP, SNMP, DHCP, VLAN, STP, MPLS, BGP, VRF etc.
Experience with network
automation tools and frameworks
(Python, Ansible, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
Knowledge of
network device configuration
and testing (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
Experience in CICD process , Jenkins .
Strong understanding of different traffic generator like Ixia, Spirent
Experience with
API testing
and tools like Postman or similar.
Strong
troubleshooting
and
debugging
skills.
Familiarity with
virtualization technologies
(e.g., VMware, KVM, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems like
Git
.
