Network Operations Technician

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years experience troubleshooting DWDM Networks
• 3 years experience with Ciena 6500 /Infinera/Alcatel PSS-32/16 required
• 3 years experience in a network operations role required.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in the field as a Fiber Technician

A large telecommunications company is looking for a candidate that will be responsible for maintaining the stability and reliability of network services through advanced technical expertise and proactive coordination. The role includes performing complex troubleshooting and diagnostics, creating and deploying maintenance requests for after-hours network augments, and collaborating with the Network Control Center, Technical Assistance Center, and external vendors to ensure the health of priority circuits. Key duties involve monitoring network operations, conducting remote and off-net testing, managing escalations, and coordinating repair activities by dispatching field technicians and providing timely updates to customers. The position also requires gathering and analyzing network data, creating and executing scripts for repetitive tasks, and identifying automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

This position pays ₹18–25 LPA
