Network Operations and Production Network Engineer

As a Network Operations and Production Network Engineer in Bengaluru (Hybrid), your role will involve hands-on engineering and troubleshooting within a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment. You are expected to be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Core Cisco networks (BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN) along with additional expertise in F5 (Load balancing, LTM, GTM, DNS configs), Fortinet, and Zscaler technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing operational support and troubleshooting for network-related issues. - Collaborating with stakeholders and working effectively under pressure. - Diagnosing and resolving complex network problems. - Managing LAN/WAN technologies and protocols such as Cisco ACI, IOS, NX-OS, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF. - Working with multi-vendor firewall platforms like FortiGate, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Tetration. - Utilizing remote access technologies like Cisco AnyConnect, Zscaler, and Aruba. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in network operational support and production network engineering in large institutions or banks. - Strong skills in TCP/IP and SSL troubleshooting using packet analysis tools like tcpdump and Wireshark. - Proficiency in network virtualization, cloud, and automation concepts. - Expertise in network programming/automation with tools like Python, Ansible, Saltstack, Terraform. - Knowledge of network access control and zero-trust networking principles. - Ability to work in 24/7 shift patterns, including weekends and adapt to changes as required.
