Network Monitoring and Observability Tools Specialist

As a Network Monitoring and Observability Tools Specialist at FIS, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions for efficient monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of complex network infrastructure. Your contributions will directly impact the reduction of outages and mean time to resolution (MTTR) across the enterprise. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform administration support for various network monitoring systems and automated services to address application/service issues promptly. - Collaborate with support teams and vendors to ensure proper system monitoring and resolve application issues effectively. - Manage ticket flow administration, including resource allocation and status tracking, to prevent past due tickets. - Conduct vulnerability remediations, create technical documentation, and maintain Service Now Dashboards for ticket status reviews. - Coordinate OS level patching schedules, prepare applications and systems for patching, and validate system functionality post-patching. - Work in 2 PM to 11 PM IST shifts. **Qualifications Required:** - 3 to 6 years of strong knowledge in monitoring solutions for network monitoring. - Broad understanding of networking and computing technologies. - Proficiency in ITSM concepts, framework, and IT operations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and industry trends. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with efficient organizational abilities.
