Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain IP network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Analyze and resolve network outages, latency issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with network architects and system administrators to optimize infrastructure.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior network staff.
Maintain documentation of network design, configurations, and changes.
Ensure network security compliance with organizational policies.
Work on network automation and scripting tasks where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IP networking or a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
