Hands-on skills for Cisco IOS (required) and Nexus OS (preferred)

Demonstrated knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the network

Demonstrated operational success with an exceptionally strong data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges

Documenting solutions with diagrams and proper descriptions is required

Experience with incident response, information assurance, computer security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability management, antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS monitoring, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs

Telecommunications experience VoIP, RTP, SIP peering/trunking, and SBC is a huge plus

Network automation experience (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Python) is a huge plus

VXLAN experience is a plus

Experience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site-to-site VPNs, FWs, IPSec, monitoring, etc. is a plus

Experience with network analysis tools (NetFlow, SNMP, packet brokers, etc.) is a plus

Knowledge of Linux network functions; SaaS/Cloud-based software environment a plus, but not required
