Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai
Experience: 4 to 8 years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with deep expertise in MPLS , routing , switching , and BGP protocols to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking, troubleshooting, and configuring complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP , OSPF , and EIGRP .
Design and implement MPLS networks ensuring high availability and performance.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot L2/L3 switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues across the network layers.
Implement and manage VLANs , QoS , STP , EtherChannel , etc.
Perform regular network maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patching.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
Ensure network security by enforcing firewall policies, ACLs, and VPN setups.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong expertise in Routing protocols : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
Experience with Switching protocols : STP, VTP, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP
In-depth knowledge of MPLS , VPN technologies, and WAN optimization
Experience with Cisco , Juniper , or similar enterprise-grade devices
Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG, etc.
Understanding of network security concepts and firewalls (Cisco ASA, FortiGate)

Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco Certifications: CCNA / CCNP (Routing & Switching / Service Provider)
Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies is a plus.
ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.

Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and documentation capabilities
Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision
