About the Role

Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement

  FortiGate firewall architecture

  in Azure (hub-and-spoke, spoke-to-internet, spoke-to-on-prem).
• Deploy FortiGate firewalls via Azure Marketplace (VM sizing, NIC setup, custom routing).
• Configure

  firewall policies, NAT, SSL/IPSec VPNs, intrusion prevention

  for cloud security.
• Integrate FortiGate with Azure networking components:
• VNet Peering, UDRs, NSGs
• Azure Load Balancer (for HA setups)
• Azure Firewall (if coexisting)
• Develop and enforce

  zero-trust network segmentation

  using Fortinet NGFW.
• Monitor and manage firewalls with

  FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, or FortiOS logging

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST

  , and other security frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in

  Fortinet FortiGate firewall administration

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  FortiOS

  (firewall, VPN, IPS, UTM).
• Experience with

  FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  SSL/IPSec VPN

  setup.
• Strong proficiency with

  Azure networking

  (VNets, NSGs, UDRs, VNet peering, Load Balancers).

• Fortinet NSE4 certification

  or higher (preferred).
