Job Description

Role: Network Engineer 2

Experience: 4 - 8 years

Location: Gurgaon

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO, 2 days WFH)

About Company:

Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Fabric Networks:
Configure VXLAN overlays, BGP EVPN, and leaf-spine topologies for high availability.
Routing & Switching:
Manage BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, and Layer 2/3 integration across fabrics.
Network Operations:
Work on Cisco, Arista, or Juniper platforms for underlay/overlay architectures, multitenancy, and DCI.
Troubleshooting:
Act as Level 2 support using tools like Wireshark, traceroute, and NetFlow.
Automation & Documentation:
Use Ansible/Python/APIs for automation and maintain clear network diagrams, IP plans, and configs.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on with VXLAN, BGP EVPN, leaf-spine.
Proficient in L2/L3 protocols (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP).
Experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista EOS, or Juniper QFX.
Good knowledge of VRFs, overlays, and DCI.

Nice to Have:

Cisco ACI, Arista CloudVision, or Juniper Apstra experience.
Network automation (Ansible, Python, REST APIs).
Understanding of SDN, NFV, QoS, and fabric security.
Certifications like CCNP DC, DCACI, JNCIP-DC, Arista ACE.
