Role & responsibilities

• Network & Security Management

• Monitor and manage BFLs network and firewalls.
  
• Ensure compliance with BFLs security policies.
  
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for network and device management.
  

• Data Center (DC) Visits

Akamai Delivery & Property Configuration Responsibilities

• Configure

  Akamai Property Manager

  (PMCs) for caching, routing, and performance.
• Manage

  Akamai ALB

  ,

  GTM

  , and

  Edge DNS

  for traffic and domain configuration.
• Implement

  access control

  ,

  geo-blocking

  ,

  TLS/SSL

  , and

  DDoS protection

  .
• Work with

  Cloudflare

  for new property creation, SSL mapping, and CDN configurations.
• Automate using

  Akamai CLI

  ,

  Terraform

  , and

  APIs

  .
• Maintain firewall policy reviews and ensure alignment with BFL standards.

Expertise with:

• Firewalls:

  Palo Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA

• Cloud platforms:

  Azure, AWS, GCP

• CDN Tools:

  Akamai, Cloudflare

• Understanding of

  TCP/IP, HTTPS, TLS, IPSec

  .
• Knowledge of

  automation tools

  and

  network monitoring

  (e.g., Zabbix, mPulse).

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in CS/IT/Electronics Engineering, MCA or equivalent.
  
• 3-5 years of experience at L2 level in Network Security.
  
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA).
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CDN/Delivery technologies (Akamai, Cloudflare).
  
• Strong understanding of network/application layer protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, TLS, IPSec).
  
• Good communication, shift-flexibility, vendor-/partner-coordination skills.
