Network and firewalls Engineer/Architect Network and firewalls Engineer/Architect Job Details Network Routing Switching, Firewalls, VPN, Troubleshooting We are looking to recruit a Network Engineer/SME/Architect to support all our sites at India on Apache Cloud Stack. Manage the network equipment and firewalls at all sites, BGP routing, coordinating with Data Center network team (colocation DCs) and ISPs as required. As a Network and firewalls Engineer, you ll play a pivotal role to lead network and firewall engineering by collaborating with other partners as required to ensure seamless operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Demonstratable hands on experience with most of thefollowing, Layer2, 3 and Layer4 switches (VSS, VPC, EtherChannel), BGP, routing and firewalls, Cisco, Dell, SonicWall, FortiGate and Palo Alto Firewalls Extensive experience with LANs, VLANs, WANs, VPNs, Firewalls, QoS Broad knowledge of Next Generation firewall technology, IDS/IPS/VPN/SSL Strong understanding of networking protocols, network hardware, software, and network security. Ability to translate business request into network solutions and then implement and operate those network solutions Multiple years of networking experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment including switches, routers, and firewalls; Routing protocols such as OSFP and BGP Broad knowledge in SDN engineering areas and support organization to network performance Ability to design and deploy network infrastructure and managing end to end activities that includes network configuration management, developing network segmentation to support multiple segregated network paths for public, data and storage networks. Ability to deploy solutions to monitor the existing infrastructure, assessing the infrastructure upgrade needs and planning for new systems Ability to troubleshoot network related issues and manage the end-to-end incident management till resolution. Holder of network certifications to Cisco CCNP level or equivalent level from other network vendors Strong analytical skills and be able to identify, troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to network infrastructure Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Skills And Abilityy Ability to use scripting and programming language to build and maintain networks using python or Go or Perl Ability to develop firewall rules, script and manage them. Good communication, problem solving, analytical, team work, time management and other interpersonal skills CCNA, CCIE, Arista, etc. related certifications Education/Qualification Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 12-15 years of experience in Core networking technologies using Arista/Cisco/Sonic OS, etc. and have experience with firewall rules scripting.
