Network Analyst

As a Network and Telecoms Infrastructure Specialist at Travelex, your role involves the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Networks, Telecoms, and Secured Internet Infrastructure. Reporting to the Technical Manager in Networks, Mumbai, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these critical systems across Travelex's global operations. You should be well-versed in a variety of technologies, including Checkpoint Firewall, Cisco routing/switching, Meraki Wireless LAN, A10 Loadbalancer, and have a basic understanding of AWS. Additionally, familiarity with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds is essential for this role. In this position, you will be required to resolve 1st and 2nd level Network and Telecoms infrastructure support calls efficiently. A comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts in Network Infrastructure, Firewalls, Routing & Switching, Loadbalancer, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting skills is crucial. Your experience in Wireless LAN technology and ability to debug logs effectively will be valuable assets in this role. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of total IT experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to Networking. A Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering is required to demonstrate your academic background in this field. Desirable qualifications include experience in LAN, WAN, checkpoint Firewalls, and Internet infrastructure setup, support, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Layer 3 Switches, Load-balancers, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, Solarwinds, and similar monitoring systems is advantageous. An understanding of IT Security issues and Business Continuity Management will further enhance your capabilities in this role.
