Network Administrator or System Administrator

Role Overview: As a Network Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. You will undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources and secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies. Additionally, you will support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy and upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases. Configuring routing and switching equipment and firewalls will also be part of your tasks, along with providing remote IT support to on-site engineers and end users during installation. Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within the Network will also be under your purview. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network problems and outages - Collaborate with network architects on network optimization - Investigate data network faults in local and wide area environments - Establish and enforce network security policies - Upgrade data network equipment and configure routing and switching equipment - Provide remote IT support during installation - Manage IP addressing and hosted devices within the network Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - 3+ years of experience in network administration - MCSA/MCSE/MTA/Red Hat/CCNA certification preferred - Experience with networking, VPN, routing and switching protocols - Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Firewall, DLP solution, Endpoint Solution - Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Packet Analyzer - Hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining Windows Servers, Linux Servers - Experience in O365 administration Additional Details: The company values flexibility in work timing and emphasizes strong communication and documentation skills in its employees.
