As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maximizing network performance through monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. You will undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources. Additionally, you will secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access, supporting and administering firewall environments in line with IT security policy, and upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases. You will also configure routing and switching equipment and firewalls, provide remote IT support to on-site engineers and end users during installation, and undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within the network. In the role of System Administrator, you will establish the Windows/Linux server environment by designing systems, configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. You will also focus on maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Similarly, you will undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments using information from multiple sources, secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, define and monitor access, support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy, and upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases. Moreover, you will configure routing and switching equipment and firewalls, provide remote IT support to on-site engineers and end users during installation, and undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within the network. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience and possess a qualification of BSC/BE/Btech/Diploma/Msc/BCA in IT/CS/IS. Preferred certifications include MCSA/MCSE/MTA/Red hat/CCNA Certified Personal and ISMS implementor/certified personal. The job type is full-time with the requirement to work from the office located in Bengaluru. The required skills include hands-on experience in networking, VPN, routing and switching protocols, configuring and maintaining Firewall, DLP solution, Endpoint Solution, using tools like Wireshark, Packet Analyser, system/network administration, configuring and maintaining Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and administration of O365. Additionally, the role demands flexibility in work timing, strong communication, and documentation skills.
