Description
About The Role Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Implement and maintain routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP). Manage VLANs, STP, trunking, and other Layer 2 technologies. Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement network solutions. Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures. Respond to and resolve network incidents and service requests. Ensure network security through access controls, firewalls, and VPNs. Conduct network capacity planning and performance tuning. Primary Skills Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, NAT, and DHCP. Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS or similar platforms. Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). Certifications such as CCNA , CCNP , or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
