Job Description:

The NetSuite Developer is dedicated to defining solutions specifically for the NetSuite ERP/ SCM/ WMS and CRM platform and acts in a lead role to provide guidance and Design/ Development expertise for client-based engagements (typically Implementations, platform migrations, rollouts and support based engagements)

They will translate the business requirements into NetSuite process requirements and design specifications. The architect will also play an active role in the identification and creation of all necessary documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with client and creative leads to translate requirements into design specifications and document new and/or existing application requirements. Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented, and addressed satisfactorily
• Works closely with business partners on providing a POV on technical and process recommendations and solutions
• Develop well structured, easily maintained code. Prepare documentation of developed programs and processes
• Ensure team members follows established standards. Work with technical team to ensure optimal technical design
• Hands-on experience with SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript/web services, CSV imports, scheduling scripts, and notifications.
• Experience managing new environment creation, refreshes, and vendor relationships for SaaS software.
• Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality
• Prepares estimates for complex projects to provide management with information needed to accurately forecast project delivery dates
• Provide production support to existing systems
• Assist in the mentoring, training and development of team technical skills
• Maintain and administer Customer's NetSuite system, ensuring its security and effectiveness.
• Provide support and subject matter expertise to users, company employees, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
• Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed.
• Ensure system integrity with proper use of sandbox environments, production data backups, and testing for all system and data changes.
• Provide ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users.
• Manage the setup, configuration, and customization of NetSuite OneWorld in a multi-subsidiary/multi-currency environment.
• Create and modify saved searches, reports, dashboards, KPIs, roles, and role assignments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement NetSuite solutions that align with business needs.
• Present enhancement proposals at change review sessions and ensure standardization of processes governing these changes.
• Experience in advocating / designing solutions using third party (backend) integrations (using iPaas Prefer Talend or Celigo) across areas such as Address/Shipping/Tax validation/Bank, Payment, CRM, Commerce, PIM, and payment gateways.
• Proficient in Suite Script, Suite Flow, Suite Talk, Client/User event and MAP Reduce scripts, NetSuite Administration
• Participates in cross-functional efforts to build out web application platforms
• Works with technical teams to devise or modify procedures/processes to solve complex problems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or experience in related Technical area
• Has 5+ years of experience in NetSuite ERP and related eco-system
• Experienced in multi-site and multi-country end-to-end implementations of NetSuite
• Possess good understanding of Design principles, Process standards, Industry based practices.
• Experience with tagging and testing tools a plus
• Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative
• Ability to perform in a fast paced and highly interactive team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem solving skills
