NetApp Storage/Dell EMC field Support Engineer

As a NetApp Storage/Dell EMC Field Support Engineer at Tata Elxsi in Kochi, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting NetApp/Dell EMC storage systems. Your role will involve providing L1 and L2 support for NetApp storage systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly, troubleshooting issues, and replacing failed components. You will be tasked with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting NetApp storage systems, including Data ONTAP and firmware upgrades. It will be crucial for you to oversee the support of NetApp storage solutions, ensuring they are optimized, secure, and aligned with business requirements. Monitoring storage system performance, managing capacity planning, and performing performance tuning to ensure maximum uptime and reliability will also be part of your responsibilities. In this role, you will be involved in allocating storage resources, managing capacity planning, and ensuring efficient storage utilization. You will implement and manage data protection strategies, ensuring the availability and integrity of backups and disaster recovery processes. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with customers to understand their storage needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintaining detailed documentation of storage configurations, processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides will be essential. You will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of storage infrastructure with other enterprise systems.
