Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled NetApp Storage and Veeam Backup Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise storage and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NetApp storage systems and Veeam Backup & Replication , ensuring data integrity, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness. Key Responsibilities: NetApp Storage Management: Design, implement, and maintain NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, AFF, FAS, etc.). Manage SAN and NAS storage infrastructure , ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Perform storage provisioning, capacity planning, and system upgrades . Monitor and troubleshoot NetApp storage issues to minimize downtime. Implement storage replication, snapshots, deduplication, and disaster recovery strategies. Utilize NetApp tools such as Active IQ, SnapCenter, and Cloud Volumes for monitoring and optimization. Veeam Backup and Recovery: Design and administer Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for physical and virtual environments. Configure backup jobs, repositories, retention policies , and replication settings. Conduct regular backup testing, disaster recovery drills, and failover validation . Troubleshoot backup performance issues and optimize recovery processes. Ensure compliance with backup policies, data retention, and security regulations . General Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on storage and backup strategies. Perform regular patching, upgrades, and security hardening . Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides . Provide technical support and resolve storage/backup-related issues efficiently. Stay updated with the latest technologies in NetApp storage and Veeam backup solutions . Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in NetApp storage administration . Strong expertise with NetApp ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, and FlexClone . Extensive experience with Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments. In-depth knowledge of SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, and Fibre Channel protocols. Familiarity with cloud-based backup solutions and hybrid storage architectures. Experience working with Windows, Linux, and Hyper-V environments. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) certification. Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) certification. Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Ansible) . Knowledge of cloud storage technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Why Join Us?
