Role Overview: As a Backup Administrator at Innova ESI, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing data backup and recovery systems to ensure the availability of critical data in case of data loss, disasters, or system failures. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing data backup and recovery systems using technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, and Veritas - Safeguarding critical data through the use of backup software, tape libraries, and cloud-based backup solutions - Ensuring data protection, encryption, and security best practices are followed - Managing storage technologies like RAID, SAN, and NAS, along with operating systems like Windows and Linux, and database systems like SQL and Oracle - Troubleshooting data recovery scenarios and working effectively under pressure - Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience - Proficiency in backup and recovery technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, and Veritas - Strong knowledge of data protection, encryption, and security best practices - Experience with storage technologies and protocols like RAID, SAN, and NAS - Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux, and database systems like SQL and Oracle - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure - Excellent communication and teamwork skills Note: Relevant certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Backup and Recovery Engineer (CBRE) would be considered a plus for this role.,
