.NET Application Developer

The .NET Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, primarily leveraging cloud technologies (AWS), .NET, and SQL. This role will contribute to the organization's mission by enhancing the digital landscape through efficient, scalable, and secure software solutions, while also exploring low-code/no-code platforms to accelerate development and streamline business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable applications using .NET and SQL
• Ensure seamless integration with AWS cloud services
• Participate in application refactoring to improve code efficiency and readability
• Research, evaluate, and implement low-code/no-code platforms like K2 (Nintex Automation) to accelerate development for internal
• tools and workflows.
• Integrate low-code solutions with backend systems using APIs and web services for smooth data flow / process automations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Implement cloud-native architectures to optimize scalability, availability, and performance of applications.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for consistent and automated infrastructure management.
• Design and develop microservices-based applications using Docker for containerization.
• Break down monolithic applications into manageable microservices to improve scalability, maintainability, and deployment flexibility.
• Build, test, and deploy containerized applications across multiple environments (development, staging, production) to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Build and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline to automate testing, building, and deployment.
• Ensure that applications follow security best practices, including secure authentication via OAuth and JWT, and proper data encryption both in transit and at rest.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and code audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant experience / certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer), .NET, SQL
• 2-3 years of experience in software development, primarily working with .NET and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Working knowledge in implementing microservices architecture and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms and integrating them into existing backend systems.
• Strong focus on security best practices and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
