Senior Nest.JS Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using
Nest.js Framework
.
Build and integrate
RESTful
,
SOAP
, and
gRPC
APIs.
Develop backend systems following
MVC
and
Microservices architecture
principles.
Write unit and integration tests using
Jest
to ensure high-quality, testable code.
Perform
framework upgrades and migrations
to keep codebases modern, secure, and performant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
Manage source code using
GitHub
and contribute to CI/CD processes.
Optimize and maintain
SQL
(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and
NoSQL
(e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of professional experience in backend development with
Node.js
.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field
.
Strong expertise in
NestJS
and related ecosystems.
Proven experience in
framework upgrades and migrations
(e.g., Node.js/NestJS version transitions).
Proficiency in designing and consuming
REST
,
SOAP
, and
gRPC
APIs.
Strong understanding and implementation knowledge of
MVC
and
Microservice architecture
.
Solid experience with
Jest
for unit and integration testing.
Hands-on experience with
SQL
and
NoSQL
databases.
Proficient in
GitHub
for version control, pull requests, and workflow automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
