Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosing Kidney Diseases
:
Identify conditions like kidney failure, kidney infections, high blood pressure related to kidney issues, and electrolyte imbalances using tests like blood tests, urine tests, and imaging.

Managing Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
:
Treat patients with chronic kidney conditions and help slow the progression of the disease with medications, lifestyle changes, and regular monitoring.

Dialysis Management
:
Oversee patients requiring dialysis (hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis) for kidney failure, and manage the procedures involved.

Kidney Transplantation
:
Help evaluate patients for kidney transplants, manage post-transplant care, and ensure proper medication to prevent organ rejection.

Electrolyte and Fluid Balance
:
Treat conditions like high potassium, low sodium, or dehydration, which are common in kidney-related problems.

Patient Education
:
Advise patients on managing their kidney health through diet, medications, and lifestyle changes.

Collaboration with Other Doctors
:
Work with other specialists, such as diabetologists or cardiologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients with kidney disease.
