SSIS Developer

• Develop, maintain, and optimize

  SSIS packages

  to support ETL workflows.


• Design and implement

  data warehouse solutions

  , ensuring best practices in

  ETL development and data modeling

  .


• Write and troubleshoot complex

  T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and SQL functions

  .


• Optimize database performance, including

  query tuning and indexing strategies

  .


• Work with

  various SQL Server versions (2016, 2017, 2019)

  and understand different

  data models (normalized, de-normalized, star schema, snowflake models)

  .


• Manage and schedule jobs using

  SQL Server Agent

  and execute

  Windows Batch Jobs

  .


• Assist in

  database migration projects

  , particularly from

  Microsoft SQL Server to MySQL

  .


• Work with

  recent versions of MySQL (5.7/8)

  , optimizing queries and managing

  MySQL storage engines (InnoDB, MyISAM)

  .


• Utilize MySQL features such as the

  event scheduler

  for job automation.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving SQL operations and implementations.


• Use version control tools such as

  Git, Mercurial, or SVN

  for database scripts and ETL workflows.


• Troubleshoot data integrity issues and ensure data accuracy across systems.

  Qualifications & Skills:

  
  



• 6+ years of experience

  with

  Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and MySQL databases

  .


• Strong hands-on experience with

  ETL processes and SSIS development

  .


• Expertise in

  writing and optimizing SQL queries

  for both

  SQL Server and MySQL

  .


• Experience in

  SQL performance tuning and query optimization

  .


• Understanding of

  data modeling concepts

  and best practices.


• Knowledge of

  SQL Server Agent job scheduling

  and execution of

  Windows Batch Jobs

  .


• Preferred experience in

  database migration from SQL Server to MySQL

  .


• Familiarity with MySQL s

  storage engines (InnoDB, MyISAM) and event scheduler

  .


• Strong analytical and

  problem-solving skills

  in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience with
