MySQL Developer

As a MySQL Developer at Xemplar Insights, you will play a crucial role in managing MySQL instances, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Your responsibilities will include provisioning MySQL instances in different configurations, handling database administration, tuning, backup, and disaster recovery, and collaborating with team members and clients. You will also be responsible for preparing documentations and specifications, profiling server resource usage, and following processes for change control and incident management. Additionally, you will be involved in database tuning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal database performance. Key Responsibilities: - Provision MySQL instances in clustered and non-clustered configurations - Manage database administration, tuning, backup, and disaster recovery - Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases - Prepare documentations and specifications - Handle common database procedures like upgrade, backup, recovery, migration - Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary - Collaborate with team members and clients - Follow processes for change control, incident management, and service calls - Responsible for Database tuning, Performance tuning, and Database troubleshooting Qualifications Required: - Should have 4+ years of experience as a MySQL Developer - Strong proficiency in MySQL database management - Experience with recent versions of MySQL and replication configuration - Knowledge of MySQL features and best practices - Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements - Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git/SVN - Engineering graduate or B.Tech in Computer Science Xemplar Insights is a software and solutions company based in Hyderabad, specializing in smartphone technology, AWS cloud, and data science.
