Key Responsibilities

• Architect, optimize and manage existing

  MySQL

  databases, ensuring high performance, maintaining regular backups, data integrity, and security.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using

  Node.js

  . Implement robust APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Contribute to system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Linux, and also Apache and Nginx web servers for configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in creating and executing migration scripts for smooth production deployments.
• Clear understanding of Git/Bitbucket workflows, including resolving merge conflicts, performing rollbacks, and ensuring version control best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience

  in backend development, with at least 3+ years working in

  Node.js

  and

  MySQL

• Strong expertise in

  MySQL

  , including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and database design. Strong understanding of

  backend architecture and design patterns

  .
• Experience in building and consuming

  RESTful APIs

  . Proficiency in

  JavaScript

  .
• Frontend exposure to React and Next would be a good to have
• Understanding of

  security best practices

  , authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT).
• Understanding of with

  cloud platforms

  and hosting. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment automation. Familiarity with

  DevOps tools

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
