MySQL and Nodejs Developer

Role Overview: You will be a Senior Developer specializing in MySQL and Node.js, with a preference for prior experience in product-based environments. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize backend systems, ensuring the security, reliability, and maintainability of our product platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, optimize, and manage existing MySQL databases, focusing on high performance, regular backups, data integrity, and security. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, including implementing robust APIs and integrating with third-party services. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Contribute to system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical roadmaps. - Demonstrate knowledge of Linux, Apache, and Nginx web servers for configuration and troubleshooting. - Experience in creating and executing migration scripts for smooth production deployments. - Have a clear understanding of Git/Bitbucket workflows, including resolving merge conflicts, performing rollbacks, and ensuring version control best practices. Qualification Required: - 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a minimum of 3 years working specifically with Node.js and MySQL. - Strong expertise in MySQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and database design. In-depth understanding of backend architecture and design patterns. - Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, along with proficiency in JavaScript. - Exposure to frontend technologies like React and Next would be advantageous. - Understanding of security best practices, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT). - Familiarity with cloud platforms and hosting, as well as knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment automation. Experience with DevOps tools. - Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
