MV Drives Field Service Engineer

Summary of Work Environment and Work Performed

• Startup and commissioning of Medium Voltage AC Drives.
• 5 to 8 Years of experience in VFD/Drive Field Service Industry
• Interface between Drives and Automation system using different network e.g. Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet.
• Install and commission industrial control systems including tune-up of closed loop regulators and troubleshoot process application problems.
• Follow document control process as per the standards prevailing.
• Work with application and system engineers to demonstrate that engineered functions meet customer requirements as defined in project specifications.
• Generate supporting documentation as per team and customer requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining TAT and uptime of product under warranty & with service contract.
• Responsible for executing preventive maintenance activities as per service contract.
• Responsible for delivering product training as per project/contract agreement.
• Coordinating the entire activity of the Post Sales Support (Service & Support area) department.
• Adhere to engineering best practices, design standards, and engineering processes for the development.
• Suggest and implement improvements to processes and standards when appropriate.
• Work within a multi-disciplined team consisting of various stake holders.
