Music Teacher

The Music Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive music education program to students of varying ages and skill levels. This role involves teaching music theory, history, and practical skills in playing instruments and vocal performance. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their musical abilities, foster a love for music, and encourage creative expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and implement a music curriculum that meets educational standards and fosters a progressive learning environment.
• Instruction: Teach music theory, history, and practical skills across a range of musical styles and genres. Provide instruction on various instruments and vocal techniques.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress through regular assessments, assignments, and performances. Provide constructive feedback and grades.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Performance Preparation: Organize and direct school performances, concerts, and other musical events. Prepare students for competitions and examinations.
• Resource Management: Maintain musical instruments, equipment, and instructional materials. Ensure that all resources are properly used and cared for.
• Professional Development: Stay current with developments in music education. Attend workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work with other teachers, staff, and administration to integrate music into the broader educational program. Participate in school meetings, events, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Extracurricular Activities: Lead and supervise extracurricular music-related activities such as school bands, choirs, and clubs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 12 per week
