Job Title: Music Teacher

Job Summary

The Music Teacher is responsible for delivering music education to students, teaching vocal and/or instrumental music, preparing students for performances, and fostering creativity and appreciation for music. The role includes planning lessons, conducting practice sessions, and guiding students of various age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach vocal and/or instrumental music as per the school curriculum and activity plan.
• Design engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Train students in basic and advanced musical concepts such as rhythm, melody, pitch, tempo, and notation.
• Prepare students for assemblies, competitions, cultural events, and annual functions.
• Conduct choir practice, group singing, and individual training sessions.
• Maintain instruments in proper condition and ensure their safe usage.
• Organize and coordinate music for school programs, functions, and celebrations.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain class discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Keep attendance, exam records, and submit required reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Music / Performing Arts (preferred).
• Professional training in vocal or instrumental music.
• Experience in teaching or performing music.
• Strong understanding of music theory and practical techniques.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to conduct choir and group music activities.

Work Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or performance experience (as required by the institution).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
