Multimedia Graphic Creator

Job Title -

Position Summary:

This position performs multimedia graphic creation for technical publications for engine and systems. This role fulfill the technical documentation requirement with current market requirement in terms of multimedia graphics and 3D animation. This role will steer the external partnering and get the work done according to RR guidelines.

Key Accountabilities:

• Creation and assistance for multimedia content creation including graphics, 3D sequence, Animation
• Develop and approve the technical content of technical publications/communications (used by OEM, build/commissioning/maintenance bases and customers) including acceptance limit development.
• Quality checking and coordination of projects with partnering
• Coordinate with Cross functional teams for graphic development
• Gather in-service data and carry out continuous improvement by identifying Best Practice and Learning from Experience activities, feeding back into future programs and document design teams.
• Create and update style guides for multimedia graphics
• Steer external partnering to get done the graphic creation work.

Basic Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Automation, Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5-7 years experience in technical publications
• Knowledge of components/ systems functionality
• Minimum 5 years experience in Technical illustration creation
• Experience of working on complex tasks that are novel and ambiguous
• Able to create multimedia graphics with different tools
• Handle partnering with stringent timelines for deliveries
• Tools such as Creo Illustrate, SAP, Windchill, Iso draw, any 3D animation tool

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge about Diesel, Gas engines
• Hands-on skills in technical illustration creation, 3D manual creation, animation development
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to read and interpret general procedures and speak fluent English
• Experience of the creation of guidelines
• Experience in support/lead cross-functional teams e.g. specialists, suppliers, customers, partners
