Job Description

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the configuration, testing, and operational status of client infrastructure through your deep technical expertise to address complex problems and enhance service quality. Your day-to-day tasks will involve pre-emptive service incident resolution, conducting product reviews, and implementing operational improvements. You will handle high-complexity tickets, perform advanced tasks, and offer diverse solutions while maintaining zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions. Furthermore, you will mentor junior team members and collaborate across various technology domains such as Cloud, Security, Networking, and Applications. In this role, you will conduct necessary checks, utilize monitoring tools, and promptly respond to alerts to identify and address issues before they escalate. By logging incidents with detailed information, you will analyze, assign, and escalate support calls as needed. Additionally, you will proactively seek optimization and automation opportunities, ensuring continuous feedback to clients and stakeholders. A critical aspect of your role involves creating knowledge articles for common tasks/issues and training junior team members in their execution. You will also provide inputs to automation teams to streamline manual efforts. Engaging with third-party vendors, updating systems, and portals as required are also part of your responsibilities. As a senior engineer, you will guide L2 teams on advanced troubleshooting techniques and support project implementation, disaster recovery functions, and other initiatives while adhering to client requirements and timelines. To excel in this position, you should have extensive experience in Managed Services dealing with complex cross-technology infrastructure. A strong grasp of ITIL processes, proven collaboration with vendors and third parties, effective communication across diverse cultures, and sound planning skills are essential. Your positive outlook, ability to perform well under pressure, active listening skills, and adaptability to evolving client needs will be key to success. A client-focused approach to ensure positive experiences and a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent qualification are required.
