As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, your primary focus will be providing managed services to ensure our clients' IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. You will proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems to support our clients effectively. Your responsibilities include: - Monitoring client infrastructure and solutions to catch errors promptly - Investigating first-line incidents and understanding their root causes - Following approved procedures for request fulfillment - Providing telephonic, ITSM ticket, or chat support - Executing maintenance activities like patching and configuration changes - Ensuring smooth shift handovers for continuous service - Identifying opportunities for optimization and automation - Supporting project work and disaster recovery functions and tests To thrive in this role, you need to have the following qualifications: - Basic understanding in technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Virtual Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr and ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, Meraki switches, and common routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGrP - Highly disciplined in handling tickets on a day-to-day basis - Good understanding of using ITSM tools and processes - Strong planning skills - A strong work ethic and adaptability - A client-focused approach and excellent communication skills - A bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader committed to accelerating client success and positively impacting society through responsible innovation.
