MRO Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for applying your knowledge and experience in Rolls-Royce MRO processes, specifically in Engine Overhaul and Component Repair. Your expertise in Fixture/tooling design, manufacturing, and inspection tools and processes will be crucial for the role. Additionally, you will need to have a good understanding of GD&T, tool/fixture design, and applications in MRO. Effective communication skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documentation are essential for this position. It would be advantageous if you have experience in Technical Instruction creation. Awareness of Rolls-Royce Engine Manual and Repair Schemes, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and FAIR processes will be beneficial for carrying out the responsibilities effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Apply knowledge and experience in Rolls-Royce MRO processes, focusing on Engine Overhaul and Component Repair - Design fixtures and tooling as required - Understand and utilize manufacturing and inspection tools and processes - Demonstrate proficiency in GD&T and tool/fixture design - Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders - Create technical instructions when necessary - Stay updated on Rolls-Royce Engine Manual and Repair Schemes, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins - Follow engine manuals, Cleaning and inspection chapter, Special Process Manuals, and Overhaul process guidelines Qualifications Required: - Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/Aeronautical engineering - 5-8 years of relevant experience - Knowledge and experience in Rolls-Royce MRO processes - Proficiency in Fixture/tooling design - Understanding of manufacturing and inspection tools and processes - Familiarity with GD&T and its applications in MRO - Strong communication skills - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documentation - Experience in Technical Instruction creation is a plus - Awareness of FAIR processes and relevant manuals and schemes (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
