MRO Engineer

As a candidate for the mentioned role, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be required to have knowledge and experience in Rolls-Royce MRO processes, specifically in Engine Overhaul and Component Repair. Additionally, you should possess expertise in Fixture/tooling design and a good understanding of manufacturing and inspection tools and processes. Familiarity with GD&T, tool/fixture design, and applications in MRO will be essential for this role. Strong communication skills are also a key requirement, along with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documentation. Technical Instruction creation experience would be beneficial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Rolls-Royce MRO processes, particularly Engine Overhaul and Component Repair. - Develop expertise in Fixture/tooling design and manufacturing and inspection tools and processes. - Apply GD&T principles and tool/fixture design in MRO operations. - Communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders. - Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for documentation purposes. - Create Technical Instructions as needed. - Familiarize yourself with FAIR processes. - Stay updated on Rolls-Royce Engine Manual, Repair Schemes, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins. - Apply engine manuals, Cleaning and inspection chapter, Special Process Manuals, and Overhaul process in your tasks. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/Aeronautical engineering. - 5-8 years of relevant experience in the field. - Knowledge of Rolls-Royce MRO processes. - Understanding of GD&T, tool/fixture design, and applications in MRO. - Good communication skills. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Technical Instruction creation experience would be advantageous.
