MPS is hiring for Business Development Associate (Noida Location) Role Description As a Business Development Associate, you will support lead generation, outreach, and early-stage business development activities. You will work closely with senior sales leaders to identify new opportunities, engage prospects, and contribute to building strong client relationships. This is a growth-oriented role ideal for candidates passionate about the education and publishing industry. Research and identify prospective clients across education companies, universities, publishers, and edtech firms.  Execute targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms to initiate conversations.  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM system.  Coordinate follow-ups, meetings, and proposal submissions with internal teams and clients.  Assist in crafting tailored pitches, proposals, and sales presentations.  Effectively transition prospects to sales representatives.  Assist in conference preparation by researching attendees, conducting outreach, and managing meeting calendars.  Support market research, competitor analysis, and client profiling initiatives.  Support marketing initiatives related to lead generation.  Stay updated on trends in education technology, publishing, and digital learning solutions.  Conduct CRM maintenance as needed.  Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field.  2+ years of experience in lead generation, sales support, or business development roles (preferably in education, publishing, or content services industries).  Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, persuasive tone.  Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. In this role, you will audit our existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design improved processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with editorial, design, production, and technology teams to implement scalable, effective solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audits of current workflows and processes across content development, composition, design, illustration, R&P, and accessibility services. Analyze end-to-end project lifecycles to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and redundancies. Design and implement revised, optimized processes to save time, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, technology, AI, and quality teams to align process improvements with organizational goals. Work closely with the AI team to evaluate, integrate, and enhance AI-driven tools and automations that improve productivity across workflows. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and operational guidelines for improved process adherence. Evaluate existing tools and platforms; recommend and help implement new systems to enhance workflow management, automation, and collaboration. Expertise in conducting operational audits and creating actionable recommendations for efficiency improvement. Familiarity with publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator, and XML editing platforms. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, Slack). Experience working with AI, automation, or technology teams to enhance productivity tools and workflows. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and influence change. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in K-12, higher education, or professional education publishing services.
